Sweet Tea and Shopping Fall Frenzy {RE-cap}

Ever been to a barn sale?? Well... let me tell you, Middle TN is rocking in that department these days and they are a blast! I am a shopper for most of them, but always a vendor {and a shopper} at the one and only, Sweet Tea & Shopping sales!

Sweet Tea & Shopping events are hosted by my long time friend, Julia. Julia has a passion for promoting handmade artisans... she understands the demands, the excitement, and joy of being a handmade artisan because she has been one herself for most of her adult life. She and her family put on quite a show down on the farm too... complete with southern hospitality, it really is something that shouldn't be missed! I always feel so grateful to be a part of this "family" that has been created there... makes me feel all warm and fuzzy ;)

Here are a few of the pictures I got of my booth while I was there in September....

I have been having so much fun working with my dad to refinish furniture pieces for these sales, along with the jewelry I bring, we have quite a haul for shoppers to look through...

This little nightstand went to one of the sweetest shoppers ever. I was so happy to hear that she was going to be putting it in her baby girls nursery.. we both got a little misty eyed and had to hug it out. It's no wonder why I love doing these shows so much... I get to meet some of the most fantastic new friends and they hug me. It really is the best job ever....

There was definitely no shortage of jewelry at this show... I brought over 100 pieces!

see.... more jewelry

and... TA-Da! That was my booth.

Do you want to take a little walk and see some of the other vendors too? Yes?
Well then... let's go...

Here is a look at the big Red Barn with just a handful of the vendors loading in early Friday morning. We held a sneak peek sale that evening so everyone had the entire day to load in and set up. I love, love, love the ambiance of this place... so pretty!

This gorgeous booth is from the awesome duo known as the Wife-n- Laws they were set up just in front of me and loaned my their square card reader no less than 1,000 times. {I misplaced mine before the show} I LOVE these ladies and have a few of their finds in my house to remind me of them daily.

I wish I could have taken pictures of all the beautiful booths in this big barn, but my time was running short before the show started and I had to get the kids from school still! I lead a very glam life, I know ;) But trust me, there was so much talent packed into this barn.. we almost blew the roof off! haha!

If you take a little walk outside of the Red Barn, you would find the "Hearth Room"

Inside the Hearth Room were some pretty awesome friends of mine. Linda of Everyday Gourmet was cooking up some of her amazing food & Cindi Renee Designs brought lots of her handcrafted, vintage-y goods to share too.
Also in the Hearth Room were artist Kellie Montana and her sister Ellie of Double the Fun Designs

Kellie and I got to have a chat and have a picture made before the show... this woman inspires me so much. She is pretty much like pure sunshine and exudes happiness in her work...

And I can't forget my friends from Junk N the Trunk
If you need an uplifting moment in life just go visit with my friend Gina... she gives me 100 reasons to smile every time I am with her :)
or... if you need a typewriter, a dresser, a vintage cash register, a pink flamingo, a restyled piano, a handmade Adirondack chair, a silver tray, or a rusty/chippy/worn treasure of any kind.. just see them, they will have it.
scouts honor.

And last but not least.. let us not forget one of my most favorite things in the world...

Yes... we all know I really just come for the goats :)
{really, how could you not love this face??}

So... these are all the pictures I managed to get before the show started....

but guess what?!? there is still one more Sweet Tea & Shopping show this year!

You can come out to Bottom View Farm in Portland, TN December 6th and 7th for the Last Chance Santa Sale!

I can't wait for this one..I am hoping for a Hallmark type moment... you know, bundled up with hot chocolates..a little Bing Crosby holiday classics playing in the back ground... and lots of happy shoppers walking around with packages full of handmade goodness....

It's going to be good! and I can't wait to see you there!

As always, thanks so much for reading!
