Pin-Tested......Pass or Fail?

With so many ideas, recipes and DIY's going around on Pinterest I thought it would be fun to write a post about a couple of the recipes I have tried lately...
You know, to see if they stack up....if they really taste as good as they look in those mouthwatering pictures.....

I was in love from the picture alone so I knew I needed to pin it and give it a try.
The recipe is from Cookies & Cups. I was so happy to stumble upon this blog! The pictures are amazing and her sense of humor is just my style!

This recipe was so easy! Nothing fancy, and she even uses a package brownie mix!

So...following her recipe exactly
 {the only thing I left out was chopped peanuts because somebody named my husband ate them before I had a chance to use them}

I made them....and they were a HIT!  Seriously...I am not afraid to say they might just be the best brownies I have ever had.
Seriously that good.
Get the recipe
  HERE
and run {not walk} to the store to get what you need to make them!

The next pin I tried was this, for oven baked corn on the cob.

I was seeing this pin all over the place! Corn is a favorite in our family...we have it growing in our garden as I type. I was all about a quick and easy way to prepare it and let me tell you, I wasn't disappointed a single bit!
It was so easy, once removed from the oven the husk and silk came off with no effort at all! Yeah....easy and mighty tasty too ;)
Really tasty....Bryce, our onsite corn expert said,
"This is the best corn I have ever eaten in my life......what?? Why are you looking at me like that? It's good!!!"

This recipe {or tip} comes from Cait Hates Cake, you can find her instructions
HERE
{just scroll down a bit, it's at the bottom of the post}

That's all I have for now, but I am looking forward to trying out some more of the recipes I have pinned and let you know how they turned out!

And maybe some of those DIY cleaning tips too
{if I ever feel like cleaning again ;) }

And...if you want, follow me on Pinterest too!
I'm a pinning machine...the recipes seemed to be pinned between the hours of 10pm-12am, not sure why that is, haha! But I always go to bed with sweet dreams ;)

Have you tried some pinned recipes? I would love to hear about how you liked them!
