Hi, my name is Lisa from Creative Raisins and I am so excited to be here doing a guest post at Creative Carmella.  Carmella has quickly become a friend and always inspires me with here creativity and kind words so when  she asked me to do this post I was more than happy.

I am a stay at home mom to 3 crazy boys who keep me on my toes all the time.  I love to create, whether it be crafts, home decorating, painting, party planning or making cakes.  I love it all.

Today I wanted to share with you one of my latest Fall creations.  I am a lover of all things Signs so I found it fitting to create a fall inspired sign to share with you.

For this project I used 1 - 8 foot stick of 1x4 spruce and 1 - 8 foot  2x2 spruce cut down to size.  I wanted the arrows to be different lengths so there was no measuring involved.  To cut the ends I used the miter saw at a 45' angle.

Then comes the fun part, the painting.  I painted each one a fun fall color, I just did one coat on each so you could still see the grain coming threw.

I am a big fan of vinyl stencils so each arrow got their own word that was stenciled on.

After they had finished drying each one got a quick sanding on the edges and a quick spray of clear top coat to protect it .  I cut the 2x2  down to my desired height and used a nail gun to secure them all.

I am so happy I could share this project with all of you, I hope you enjoy.

Lisa, Thanks so much for helping me out today! You are welcome to share your talent here anytime!

I love comments! I read each and every one of them...thank you for taking the time!
