Happy Easter....

Today, in Tennessee, the sun was shining, a breeze was blowing and an Alice in Wonderland themed Easter celebration was the place to be!

Our friends transformed their backyard into wonderland and oh, how fun it was.....

There were giant candies.....
larger than life flowers...

complete with directions to lead you on the right path??

There was tea time....
and treats....

and just so, so many eggs!

I am so thankful for all of our friends who feel just like family...God has blessed us so much! And as much fun as we had today...what this weekend is really all about is the best part....

Greatest man in history, named Jesus... He had no servants, yet they called Him Master. Had no degree, yet they called Him Teacher. Had no medicines, yet they called Him Healer. He had no army, yet kings feared Him. He won no military battles, yet He conquered the world. He committed no crime, yet they crucified Him... He was buried in a tomb, yet He lives today!!!!

1 Peter 1:3
Praise be to the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ! In his great mercy he has given us new birth into a living hope through the resurrection of Jesus Christ from the dead... (NIV)

Happy Easter!

  2. Hi Carmella- So nice to meet a new blogger! It's not always easy to break into a new group- whether it's in person or out in blogland! If you join up with parties that hold an interest for you and comment on other people's posts, I think you will be able to break the ice and become bloggy pals with them. It's an ongoing process- the blogging community has changed so much in the 2 short years I've been doing it. I think it's easier to get involved because of the friendliness and generosity of bloggers like Vanessa and her sister, Heather. I hope to grow my blog even more and I hope I'll be able to inspire people in even the smallest of ways whenever I can. Good luck to you and thanks for following along!
Glad you have such good neighbors who have lent a helping hand when you've needed it. You're a good neighbor in return for creating those cute pots to plant your hostas. :-)
